FAQs
Off-the-Cuff Stuff shows are not your typical theatre experience.
They are interactive, everchanging and quite possibly the most
fun you'll ever have at a "play".
Where is the Sioux Falls VFW?
The VFW is located just off the intersection of I-229 and
Minnesota Avenue, 3601 S. Minnesota Avenue.
From I-229: Exit north and drive approximately one block north,
you will see the VFW immediately on your left.
From Minnesota: Driving south, you will see the VFW on your
right, just before the 229 exit.
Will there be dinner served?
Of course, we will serve a lovely dinner. It will consist of:
Cheese and crackers
Chicken breast with sauce
Garlic potatoes
Chef's choice vegetable
Cherry cobbler
It is bound to rival those leftover bars you have in the break
room at the office.
What is interactive theater?
There is no stage or curtain. Cast members interact with
audience members throughout the production. Guests can ask
questions, make toasts, sing along, dance or sit back and enjoy
the action all around them.
What happens at 'The Office Party'?
Well, you get an opportunity to socialize with your fellow
employees. You eat and drink with others from your
'department' and most importantly, you get to take part in all the
silly traditions leading up to announcement of "Employee of the
Year." If you watch closely, you'll also uncover the best office
gossip.
Do I have to participate?
Cast members are very skilled at knowing which audience
members are ready to play along and which would rather sit
back and be entertained. You will not be forced to do anything
against your will.
Do you accommodate large groups or office parties?
Yes. Large groups can be seated at tables near each other.
Group discounts are available for large groups upon request.
Can I cancel reservations?
No, as we are required to predict a food count 48 hours in
advance. However, we will make every effort to move your
reservation to a more convenient night given a two day
advanced notice.
What should we wear?
Our audiences wear anything from blue jeans to formal wear.
Since it's an office party, may we suggest business casual,
sports coat or evening wear.
Is this show appropriate for children?
There are adult themes in the show and guests are allowed to
drink at a cash bar throughout the performance. While there is
nothing vulgar in this production, we consider the show PG-13
and ask that you use your own discretion.
